Visited the "Völklinger Hütte",
a very impressive steelwork complex in the "Saarland",
Germany.
More than 17'000 people have worked there mostly under
very harsh working conditions. As the first industrial
monument, it got listed as a "world cultural heritage site" by
the UNESCO in 1994.
Below you'll find an animated slideshow of pictures i took there. The music comprises of an unfinished concept-piece
i did in 2004.
