"Search for a Studio"

January 2010, i will record some more performances for the third REIZ TRIGGER album.
Sound engineer Voco Fauxpas documented the quest for the appropriate recording studio and made this little clip.
Cool, thanks!

Two more links to recent TV-features, both from "10vor10" (SF1 and 3SAT)
"Kultfigur Hunkeler" (Journalist: Schunke / Editor: Stössel).
and
"Grossprojekt verhindert". At around Minute 2 you can hear a bit of REIZ TRIGGER music... :-)

    File of the Week 46/2009:

"Reiz Trigger.com"

I'm still happy with amusis.ch. There is no real need for a specific REIZ TRIGGER site at the present time.
So this simple draft might be "under construction" for quite a while...

    File of the Week 45/2009:

"Timestretch 4:26"

If "Oxidation Noise" had a final track like "Fragment Research" does, it would sound like this...
04:26 is the average time of all tracks on "Oxidation Noise". Now all those tracks have been timestretched to this exact lenght and then were layered with equal volumes.
The result is a noise-cluster; a dense "retrospective" of all the material on the CD.

    File of the Week 44/2009:

"Both REIZ TRIGGER CDs"

Finally! The second REIZ TRIGGER CD "Oxidation Noise" is out now!
For the first time, both albums "Oxidation Noise" (released 2009, tracks from '96-'98) and "Fragment Research" (released 1997, tracks from '90-'95) are officially available.
Those two CDs do contain the entire works of "postindustrial" bandproject REIZ TRIGGER from the nineties.
For orders, drop me an email at "orders@amusis.ch".

    File of the Week 24/2009:

"Terminator Damnation"

I respect Danny Elfman very much. But his soundtrack for "Terminator Salvation" frankly is just what you'd expect from a Hollywood bluckbuster.
I don't find that peculiar "Elfman-touch" in his soundtrack this time.
The iconographic "Terminator-theme" is not there as well.
So i propose this instead... :-)

"Complete "All along the time axis" (1999) on last.fm"

Urs Schäfer (guitarist and co-author of this chaintape-project from 1999) posted the entire one hour piece on last.fm.
It is available in his player or as a free mp3 download.
"All along the Time Axis" is a weird full hour of anarchistic sampling, string-pulling, tool-hitting and experimentation.
All Sampling and Instruments by Daniel Stössel and Urs Schäfer.
Here a short review about it in german:

The CD is still available through "amusis records" and "lost and forgotten records".

"Barrel burst corporate horror"

Since a client of mine had to thoroughly change the concept of a corporate film in the making, my musical draft does not match any more with the new visuals.
So i turned it into a "survival horror-movie"-soundtrack...
